Re: Truck Wish List
Perhaps the snubber/bracket component could be molded with pins,
to press fit into cored holes in the sideframe?

It's not off list, but it's definitely OFF TOPIC. You should
take your question to Seaboard (ACL-SAL etc) mailing lists.

Definitely not the same Groff. Just look at the drawings.
There's a whole swing hanger assembly (a U shape that sits
under the spring pack)
If it's a retrofit, it ain't gonna sell. Almost no one is

Re: Scalpel---was Re: Air brush suggestions...
How does a scalpel compare to a single-edged razor blade (in terms of sharpness)? I realize that the scapel is more comfortable to hold...
Thanks,

Scalpel---was Re: Air brush suggestions...
I have used a scalpel for almost twenty years for modelbuilding. The blades are far sharper than anything from X-Acto. And far les costly as well. The no. 11 scalpel blade is comparable to X-Acto's

Friends,
Brian has really zeroed in on the problem with the Chrysler truck. I wonder if someone couldn't make just the shock absorber portion to retrofit to an existing truck side frame? Wasn't this

The problem with the Chrysler truck is that darn shock absorber. Molding it on as part of the side frame would look terrible. A separate part (or assembled parts) would SOMEHOW have to be attached

Rich,
You're going to have to do your own research on PRR trucks. Several manufacturers made A-3 side frames and bolsters, all under license from American Steel Foundries. This may account for so

SAL Centipedes
Gentlemen,
This may be off list, but I see where BLI is releasing another run of Centipedes. This run is to include an SAL unit #4505, I believe.
Question: Where did these units primarily operate?
