I bought the AMB wheelset jig and used it; it is easy to use and makes of job of painting wheelsets a bit easier; however, I recently purchased some micro-brushh applicators and now use these

Re: Wheelset Jig
AMB/Laserkit's wheelset jig works very well. I use it frequently. My only
problem with it was that it is made from acrylic and is difficult to
assemble. MEK does not work and ACC only somewhat.

Thanks for the tip, Chuck, I purchased one of the rtr! Surprised to see the
paint missing, contacted ExcatRail and no response. Maybe they are busy working
on another rib car :-)

Re: Wheelset Jig
I keep a few sets of old trucks handy in which to paint wheelsets. Any overspray on the treads is immediately removed with a pipe cleaner moistened in lacquer thinner.

GM&O postwar paint
Guys I need to paint a postwar GM&O boxcar I checked RPC 3 but that gives an
Accu-paint formula and Accu-paint is very difficult to find these days. Any
thought? I prefer water based paint.
