There’s a couple scenarios that come to mind when the origin agent or waybill clerk adds junctions between roads. Bills of Lading could have a ‘shippers route’ or an ‘agents route’. A

You mill off the spring assembly of your trucks and then attach his casting. He will even do the milling

Since the Rock and SP proper only had the single interchange point which happened to be at Tucumcari writing the routing as RI-SP was also unambigous, at least as long as the T&NO was
