I have thought of buying a brass propeller from Model Expo but have not.
They may also have plastic ones if weight is an issue.

Technically, the barrels were not "replaced" but were relined - essentially a new "sleeve" was placed in the barrel and the rifling was cut into place.

Me too. And roster information. There's a picture of a similar MILW assigned car in some of the CBCs. If I'm not mistaken some of these flat ended reefers have round roofs too.
