Re: E&B Valley
The good news is that it was taken over by Eastern Car Works. The bad news is that they too seem to be out of business ☹

Andy Miller

E&B Valley
I believe this company is out of business.
Did another company or companies take over their product line?
Thanks.

Hi Charlie,
What is the base starting car for the 1277? What was the year of the rebuild? Interesting composite car.

Tim,
Pretty much anything will get loaded in back haul containers to avoid the empty shipment. As to the car in question, perhaps the SP was evaluating the design for wood chip use.

Re: Rio Grande Oil Company HO decals special run
Andy,
Really cool project. And as I model the Bay Area, I thought it would be appropriate to add a RGOX car to my fleet. Checking the 36 and 55 tank car tariffs RGOX is in the 36, but not the 55.

Dennis the auction has photos of both sides with doors open, and you are correct. But
I declined to join in this silly discussion - at first. :-P

Re: L&N Woodrack -- 4
Super work, Bob! The ends were soldered with a lot of skill and care. One of these days would you consider taking a photo of all your unique wood racks together, so we can see the differences?

I think that finding an MP coke car on the SP Toledo Branch is a little far-fetched. The SP converted several different kinds of single sheathed boxcars into 'hog fuel' (woodchip) cars, including some
