White Star Refining Type 27 tank cars - WSRX
Does anyone know of any modeling information on this lettering scheme?I was checking it out in Ed Hawkins' RPC Vol. 3. page 15. I don't recall of any decals or dry transfers for this car.

in the resin with a resistance soldering rig ( don't own one).

This thread should die but will add one more comment. At any given Coast auction meet there are probably hundreds of "blue box" kit and cars available. Built up cars probably go as high as a dollar.

I agree with the breath of both Jerry and Robert's arguments and I do think
that loosing Athearn Blue Box kit will hurt the market a bit in selection
of products in kit form Others will

I'd bet that the insertion of new bulkheads was done by removing the rivets on one end head and then re-riveting it after bulkheads were installed. One reason railroads liked riveted construction
