Re: ATSF BX-3 Brake Wheel Replacement?
Jason, they were five spoke wheels with curved spokes; I'm sending
you a builder's end view off-list which shows this. Precision Scale
#31119 is just what you need.

Re: B&O M-53 trucks
I have an alternate view.
We have found that B&O often specified its own proprietary sideframe
designs, and provided them to DuBois shops or even manufacturers from
the Mt. Clare foundry.

Re: Modelling aluminum sheathing on boxcars
Ten years service would make the boxcar aluminum finish very dull.
The aluminum foil technique would be inferior to paint, and five
times the work. This boxcar is not a well cared for

Re: C&BT Rr-32 >> SHOULD BE Rr-33........
The early CB&T Santa Fe reefer kits had VERY crude detail sprues. I
can't vouch for them dimensionally, but the body castings themselves
were pretty nice.

C&BT Rr-32 reefer kit accuracy??
Is the C&BT kit "07112 Version B, Big Circle (circa 1959) C1 Rr 33, 5' door, 4/4 end" kit a reasonable facsimile of the prototype?
