I figured 40' box=steam; but that's sorta maybe not true. I'm pretty
sure the cars I'm working with were built in the late fifties and may
have gone into the '80's, so I'll try BBFCL. It's a new

Wabash, RI) are listed in any ORER up to July 1950. This is not

As someone said, it depends on your era. I don't think many of these
cars would have been repainted before 1960. Over on the BBFCL we
could discuss your options for the future.... :-)

Re: Can you buy just Sunshine Decals?
The best decals for SP box cars are made by Rick Leach, but I don't know
if he makes these particular cars in HO. Most of his decals are O scale or
I should say, Proto:48 scale.

Re: Can you buy just Sunshine Decals?
Which set do I need. I see they offer a set for the B-50-13 and B-50-14's but I do not see the B-50-15's. I need a set to do the steel side rebuilds. Thanks.

I did not know there was a microscale set. Thanks Paul.
I know Challenger is out of business so good thing I already have all the cars. Hopefully I am not upsetting the model

Jason,
Challenger has been out of business for several years! Why don't you use the Microscale set made for these cars?

Can you buy just Sunshine Decals?
I have some SP B-50-15'S from challenger that I want to strip and
repaint into the pre 1946 lettering. Can I buy just the decals from
Challenger to do these cars? Anyone know off hand.

They do require some additional work if you model post 1953 though as

ATSF Reefers by Intermountain
A few months ago, my local hobby shop stocked a large assortment
of ATSF HO ice reefers, ready-to-run, by Intermountain in many
road numbers.
Are these accurate? The orange color looks a little

Well, sort of. Red Caboose describes RC-8900 as an AC&F 40' welded
