Re: NC&StL box cars
Tim,
From the bill of materials for the NC&StL 1937 AAR cars series
18500-18999, all cars had AAR spring plankless trucks with the first
250 from Scullin and the last 250 from American Steel

Re: Web site on my layout with a model freight car page.
Congratulations, Mr. Duckworth!
I took the tour of your layout. Its simplicity is beautiful, making the models of structures and cars stand out all the more. It is what I wish I had done. Thank

Naked freight cars! How neat. Probably one of the few groups who will like it.

Web site on my layout with a model freight car page.
I started a small web site last Sunday and think it's ready for 'prime
time' viewing. There's a page with a few of my freight cars
highlighted. Any comments just email me

Re: MoPac 42-Foot Flatcar
Bob,
From available data that I've found, the cars were built new at MoPac's
DeSoto, Mo. shops in 1937. The M.P. diagram for the cars gives no
indications that they were converted from cars built

Re: MN&S PS-2 box cars
Sorry for that goof. Yes, of course I am referring to the PS-1 box cars, not to the covered hoppers. I am sorry I didn't catch that mistake.

B&O Duryea UF
In early October I took some photos of a B&O M26 with a Duryea UF that is sitting in a small park north of Milan, OH. Somebody asked if I would place the photos in the list's photo archives. I have.
