Can anyone point to a definitive industry (not model railroad) term for "blister panels" - the bulging panels used on some hopper cars???

Forgot to add the car shown (by the way, the pre-restoration pics of
the cars with four-digit numbers and the finished restoration of 43022
are the same car). 43022 had it's roof raised a four inches

The car shown in the link is an HO scale resin kit made by F&C
(originally sold by Steam Shack, currently available from F&C).
Here are some photos of the ends - it's usually easier to locate

The picture was of a car model, in the new Yahoo weathering group. The difference in this car model, was that the car had Youndstown doors, but the end of the car in the photo could not be

like it's one of the c 1928 cars built for the Central Vermont

The brake regulators on the Santa Bx-44s were Royal Type F, and I
have a Bx-44 photo that shows how they were installed which I'll send

kit with new doors, etc. to kitbash an Accurail single sheathed box
