Jigs are handy. I made one to hold the shaft of a display motor to
drill it out for linkage ala the commercial turnout motor for a hobby
shop. I made enough on the deal to pay the (used) price of my

Eric, I'm surprised nobody's responded to this, at least, not with the same topic line . . .
It's all in the curves. A long car will overhang more in the middle as the car moves around a
curve.

Resin stiles
Drilling those narrow stiles or similar things is a pain. You might try fabricating a jig of brass pieces soldered together that match the width of the stiles, the idea being to force the drill bit

Guys - There is a nice Cameron drill press on Ebay ending in two
days. It has one bid at $200 now. A similar one sold a couple of
days ago for about $350 or so. See
