Use Microscale MI-12 Micro Liquid Decal Film ( $2.50 a bottle.
Just follow the instructions. You can use to make decals and save the bad ones.

These are done +/- 0.002" and are available from Protocraft - close
enough for government work! Check Gene Deimling's P:48
