Re: Dupont tank car
Jeff,
I can provide some information on tank cars built by AC&F. Over the
years from the early 1930s to late 1940s there were a number of
11,000-gallon pressurized tank cars built with DUPX

Re: Decal dilemma with Cu. Capy.
Dean,
I'd experiment with a VERY fine sanding stick to sand away the offending decal. Glue a circle of 600 grit or finer wet/dry sandpaper to a wooden dowel with a 45 deg angle cut. Good luck.

Re: Dupont tank car
Does anyone know if this paint scheme ever appear on 11,000 gal
pressurized tank cars? I seen many photos of this paint scheme on
smaller ~6,000 gallon cars.
Thanks,

People don't always realize how much iron and steel was shipped around to

iron during our timeframe of interest being absolutely correct, I also
thought I would add a few more load ideas
