Re: Glue for resin freight cars
Thanks Chuck,
I was starting to get tired of just looking at the boxes,so I thought I should try and build one.
Could you tell me where I can find a "Wright-Clamp"? and also some sanding

Re: Sunshine kit Instructions
Tim, that's not original; you just copied those instructions from an
F&C kit.

Walter,
Considering the name of the town are you sure you are on the right list? Do they actually let you build freight cars in Pullman?

Re: New Atlas Model: 1932 ARA Boxcar, HO Scale
Thank you John,
Based on your suggestion I checked the pre-merger ORER and found
them under NC&StL. Pre-merger the roads were long time "kissin'
cousins" so I'll just paint an undec for the Dixie

Brian,
I don't believe the B&O stored these cars, but I have no information to
confirm my supposition.

Re: photographic print vs. scan
Such a policy is why owning a really good scanner and photo quality
printer is such a good idea. And now, back to counting rivets.

Dan,
Welcome to the resin world!! My reply to your tool quest is below.
Both thin and gel type AC
The "Wright-Clamp" in a couple of sizes. This will keep your corners
square.

Chuck,
Based on info in Ted Culotta's book, I suspect the L&N 18000-18499
series are the former NC&StL cars acquired in the 1957 merger.

Re: photographic print vs. scan
I don't read it that way but then sometimes I just don't understand. It seems they are saying the scan is $5 and the cost to do it is $7.50 making the scan $12.50 each. The CD is $2.

If NMRA sells you the CD with the scan do you have the right to go to Wal-Mart and have a print made? Will Wal-Mart make a print from the CD?
