I like the suggestion of spraying a test shot on styrene. However, I suggest first spraying the styrene with neutral gray primer, and using the same primer on the model itself. White

art class "back when" to have learned more about color adjustment.

and ends with a scratchbuilt roof but the RI one is taller and even
though I could make modified ends, don't know what to do for

Not all the makeup's have glitter in them. Try asking the Cosmetic consultant if she can recommend a matt finish powder or blusher suitable for your freight cars.

yours is a good guess. SUPX stood for Supertest. BMMX was suposedly
for Imperial Oil's (Esso) tar products. Which leaves
