Ah, how soon they forget. There is a very clear photo of a Chrysler truck in the PFE book, page 166. It is similar to one in a Cyc of 1949-51 or 1953.

The Railway Prototype Cyclopedia - Vol. 4 has a Chapter "Freight Car Trucks".... on the lower righthand corner of page 47 there is a picture of the Chysler FR-5 and the text discussion of that truck

The Pennsy had about 100 50' GAEX leased cars with Evans Loaders that rode on the Chrysler trucks in the 1950's. A portion of one of these cars with the Chrysler truck can be seen
