Re: "Class I"/MILW Ribsides
I can't find the bit about the claim that "Class I" did not cover switching roads (which another member already took exception to), but every list I can recall of AAR Class I in the steam era included

Re: ART reefer info
Ok guys, I'll go with the Amarillo models, also.
What should I order? I've gotten mixed up from several post as to what they have and what is coming.
Is it correct to say "cars in stock are kits

Re: Couplers
Clark,
I have found that you must be exact with your mounting of the scale size Accumate couplers. They have to be straight and centered. Other brands including Kadee are much more forgiving

Re: MILW "ribbed" boxcars?
I'm missing why that's an exception, since east of Pt Huron is
Canada ... :-) ... or was there normally a time limit on return of
Canadian cars, which this practice would violate?

Don,
Stan is a good friend of mine, he builds very nice models although
not all are up to the accuracy level some members of this list aspire
to. I would go with the Amarillo model myself.

The Great Northern Annual Report has a separate column for "Agricultural implements, vehicles, etc" and there 822 carloads were originated and 4,272 received in interchange.
