Schuyler,
No, I haven't used it with Scalecoat II. I have used it with Model Flex and Polly Scale. I use the 70% variety of rubbing alcohol.
I think I've got a bottle of Scalecoat II boxcar red in

I'm fairly convinced this DOES make a difference. I bought a roll of self-adhesive "dots" to use for
this masking. Lots easier than tape.
I've also never had much trouble with paint

Gene, it's my opinion that the best way to get paint of any kind to adhere to Delrin and similar engineering plastic is to sandblast the surface of the plastic. I routinely do this with trucks

Gene,
If the trucks are bare plastic, you can spray Floquil directly .... just keep the spray gun or spray can about 12" away. Also, make several quick passes so that you put on light layer each

Hi Don --
There's a picture of S&A 8199 in Mainline Modeler 4/99, p 60. It's
almost a side-on shot, I can't see much underneath, but a little of
the B end shows.

F&C "Savannah & Atlanta" wood boxcar kit
Hey Group
I'm building one of the F&C kits of a Savannah & Atlanta wood boxcar.
The 2 photos of the proto-type car are of no use. They are black blobs.
Could or would someone share a photo are two.
