I have thought of using a Dalman as a starting point
for a Chrysler truck, as it shares with the Dalman a
really wide spring perch/bolster area. Haven't done so
yet.

I think both Patapsco and Back Rivers and South
Buffalo were Bethlehem Steel roads, but I am not 100% certain; regardless, I
thank you for reminding me I forgot them!

been owned by steel-makers, like BLE and URR, they still rostered large
fleets of cars used in

How about the Lehigh Valley? Definitely not a huge road, but they served the
large mill at Bethlehem, PA. Based on info in my 1960 ORER, the Valley had
over 2700 gondolas. Ed Schaller has a lot

Yes, Beth Steel sounds right. Actually, I have one of these cars, South Buffalo I think (it's packed away). I don't know why I bought it, maybe with the idea of making one of those neat little
