Hi Jared,
Unfortunately the Train's Index is incomplete the several times I tried to
use it. I use an Index no longer available (DATATRAIN of Texas) for older
articles.

New Athearn car?
I heard that Athearn has a new 40 foot, double-sheathed box car announced
for the Roundhouse line. Has anyone any details on the prototype? I see
nothing noted at the Athearn or Roundhouse web

Re: Bead/grit blasting
It is best to use Baking soda as your blasting material. That is what they used to clean the Statue of Liberty when they cleaned it up.
Thank you

Re: Bead/grit blasting
Jared,
As far as I can remember, there hasn't been an article specifically on
grit blasters. But rather their use is mentioned in articles such as
Ted Culotta's series in RMC.

Bead/grit blasting
I have looked in the magazine index to see if there have been any
articles on bead/grit blasting as a prep for painting. Maybe I am not
using the correct search terms, but nothing is coming up.

Group Members,
I wanted to warn everyone that the issue posted on the web is a final
"draft". I put it there to have a few B&ORHS members review it before
I announced its publication on any lists.
