What you seem to have a problem with is that this was a Pennsy Model, at least as far as TTX Co. is concerned even today, and obviously when it started. They write their own history, we don't.

I agree to certain degree, but the way I think TTX looks at themselves (regardless of the who ran around with the blueprint in hand with no infrastructure) is that they looked at all

model of FGE/WFE/BRE which pooled resources and adopted
