gal. I think that's mostly a historical accident; during the period
when Texaco was partial to Dalmans, they weren't buying 8K

You're a bit confused here, Brian. ASF made a variety of different
ARA/ARA spec. trucks, but the ASF A-3s were all "Ride Control" trucks
