I know this has come up before but I can't find it right now... Any
recommendations for DVD's with emphasis on steam era freight cars? Tis the

Bob - The best way is to get yourself a 1919 Equipment Register. It contains listings of all freight cars used in interchange in the US, Canada and Mexico. And I just happen to sell one! - Al

There are LOTS of photos of these tank cars in storage in England and in
use in Europe during WWII, but alas, I am not aware of any on US Rails.
They are interesting cars with one comaprtment with 2
