Does anyone have a complete listing of the freight car cyclopedias in
the 20th/21st centuries? It would be helpful.
Thanks,

Allen,
The ORERs were issued quarterly. That said, a company might be very slow in reporting changes.

Equipment registers
I have a question that should have a simple answer. The equipment
registers are referred to as July 1958 for example. What was the
cutoff date for new data?

Larry,
Des Plaines Hobbies has a plastic Viking roof to fit the RC 8000 series
kits. While spending $40 in parts there Friday, I noticed they had about 10
on the hook.

Big 4/Jay Williams photos
Jay Williams' ad in MM said that he has "even more negatives" and was
going to be at Naperville.
Did anyone find anything new and exciting in his offerings?

Re: Cn 35002 cf. NYC Despatch Shops covered hoppers
Eastern Car Works offered inexpensive kits for these 2 cars. I don't
know how accurate they are but if you have data for the CN car this
might be a much less expensive starting point.

Re: Wheels
Edited for spelling...
I think it is pertinent because just as Dennis pointed out, there
are foundry processes that make perfect sense once they are
explained to us non foundry knowledgeable people.

Here's a little information I acquired that is neither intended to
support nor refute anything anyone else has had to say on this topic.
A few years back I spent a day at the foundryman's library
