Re: Details on Naperville
Bill,
I spoke with Martin last weekend. He should have a flyer out in a couple of weeks. He is in the process of confirming speakers.
Hope that helps,

Details on Naperville
When will the details about the Holiday Inn room rates and
registration be shared. I attended last year so will I get a direct
mailing or is there some place I need to start watching to look for

NYC stock cars
Several list members have sent me photos of 1920's NYC stock cars. Unfortunately, their names have gotten separated from the photos. I hope to be doing kits for these cars soon and want to make sure

Re: PRR 495655 & Builders Photos
There's nothing about this car that says X25. It appears to be brand-spanking-new as of 1945. I would suggest it is a prototype for a standard camp car. It appears to be symmetrical in window

Steam era freight cars
Hello,
Is anyone on this list restoring any steam era freight cars?
Is anyone modelling Katy steam era in O scale?
Does anyone have a PSC 16019 railway post office for sale?
Thanks,
Bruce

Re: Atlas "O"
Paul,
Atlas O is US O scale, i.e. 1/4" = 1' or 48:1, but 1 1/4" gage.
(Sometimes referred to as Ow5). The trucks are clunky, but easily
replaced.
If you're interested in true 56.5" gage in Oscale,

My answerto Ed's question about the paint on the 1958 delivered three bay PS-2 hoppers #1-15 was incorrect. He sent me a scan of the photo in question and it raised
some doubts

Re: Erie 44' Hopper Conversions
Ahhhhh, thanks Jerry! That's one of the best photos I've ever seen of a converted ERIE high side gon.
I will NOT complain about the 'jiggle' factor. So, Chuck Y, is that good enough for you to do

Re: Digest Number 2476
Maybe it was because these were unusal models? Used to see cars like this all the time before the advent of the covered hopper, a rarity now, I suppose.

Atlas is producing more and more "O" freight cars, like USRA boxes &
gons, etc. What scale are these cars being built to?
1-1/4" scale bodies w/7mm scale-gauged trucks?

Re: Atlas "O"
The Atlas 2 bay hoppers are the former Intermountain models, probably with a
few updates. Beautiful models.
They are 1/4" scale and run on 1 1/4" track.

Re: 50's color slides
It worked long enough for me to see the larger versions of about five pictures.
Here's the plan:
If your last name starts with "A" visit the site on June 1
"B"= June 2
"C"= June 3 and so on...
