RP CYC Vol. 2 had an article on ART's first steel reefers, 1,021 cars
built by AC&F and GATC in 1936. More recently I published an article in

Rob, this is a very interesting shot -- I've looked through a lot of equipment registers over the years, and have never seen this car listed. There was a BCER 101, but it too was a propane car built
