"Rocket Express" has a 3-3-3 Dreadnaught end as part of the 40' and
50' Rock Island car he did in resin. He sent me an extra one to use
on a Frisco kit bash I am doing using the MDC 50 footer.

That is a very long and slow trip. My mother made pickles and it took longer than a month. Also it takes more than salt. It takes alum and vinegar also.

C&O modelers of the 50s and 60s "need" the 40' 3-bay rib side hopper, but MDC's is pretty crude-- I redid two or three but I'm sitting on 9 others for now, not wanting to put in the effort to achieve

reason, I don't have the time to do a highly detailed, rivet counting, dead
nuts accurate model every time.
