I am curious, after speaking to those who called, were they happy with your

I'll toss my two cent's worth in here then run for cover....
It is my belief that these cars would have been delivered (like I believe
the X43's were) with asphaltum covered (black) roofs and frames

I don't know if you are modeling it in its original paint or as a re-paint,
and for how many years after painting.

White's "American Freight Car"
I am interested in cars in service in the mid '40s. How much of the
aforementioned book covers that subject?

Guys,
Does anyone know if Martin has set a date for next year's

Re: Atlas Trucks
Dave, I believe the Atlas trucks are Barber a S-2 design.
They are free rolling, but Branchline and Red Caboose make
the best looking Barber S-2's. The Red Caboose sideframes
have "Southern Pacific"

Re: boxcars
Thanks!
My question was that if someone built a Fowler boxcar, would it look the same as a CCF or NSC boxcar.
Got to find those Mainline Modeler Articles.

Andrew, I'm afraid I don't quite "get" your question. As I recall, the
Fowler patent is one that applies to the method of attaching the siding to
the frame of a car. Fowler was an individual -

Re: Trucks, Trucks, and more trucks
am selling some of these AHM cars for $200.00 each,
quantities are NOT limited.
Andy,
I'm not sure you'll get "full value" for these rare AHM cars if they don't have genuine AHM precision wheelsets.
