The Rio Grande narrow gauge lines rebuilt some boxcars
in the 4000 series into long cabooses at an early
date...these cars lasted until the end of operations
in 1967. I believe that

WWII era or after. The conversions that I do know of were a couple of
troop kitchen cars which were converted to "rider

A few years ago, Joe Pennington produced doors that were
correct for a number of roads' 1937 AAR box cars including
SLSF and T&P, plus Duryea

Sunshine NP 14000 kit
List,
I bought a Sunshine NP 14000 - 14499 series boxcar kit from Martin
Lofton. To my dismay I found the fishbelly underframe being
