Logging flats bunk types?
Any one know what a Seattle (PC&F) log bunk looks like? or what gerlinger bunk
is (made from scrap rail, i think)?

The best idea for easily replacing large numbers of cast in
place hopper car rungs was Tichy's replacement 18" grabs with
cast on bolt heads, in styrene. The idea was you cut off the
cast on parts

Actually, I think you will find that the 70-ton 3 bay offset started
into production around 1934. Not sure who got the first ones but it
seems like it may have been B&O.
