5000K which
One last comment or two... the really important things to approximate
sunlight are temperature (nearest to 5000-5500k) and CRI at or above 90, so
with lamps don't worry about the name,

Interesting. I see they compare a "daylight" (CRI75;6500K) but as Dave
mentioned and jogged my memory the "sunlight" bulbs are around 5000K which
they don't compare to. I believe my bulbs are GE

Could SHPX 12950 be a match for the 19,000 gallon tanks built by ACF
in the mid-1950s for UP (class O-70-1), CGW, GN, Katy and, no doubt,

Now that I'm at home, I've had a look at the "expensive" bulbs I
mentioned. They're 40WT12 EXCELLA bulbs. They have a CRI of 91.1.

Actually the last CN and CP steam disappeared from operation (other than excursion service) in 1959 and early 1960.

Yes, fairly well I'm told but not perfect, assuming if the lamps were full
spectrum, new, and around 5000-5500k, but that was from a pro. I suspect a
layman would be satisfied.
