Re: Pre USRA hoppers
Haven't come across any other examples. As for a builder, B&LE 40001-41000
and another 21 cars were built by SSC in 10/14.

I dug around in a bag of old models, and found one of the original
Varney hoppers from my first HO train set, with end sills. It is
lettered for Virginian. From a practical modeling point of view:

The new Tichy rack is based on an ACL woodrack of the W3 class. It does
feature a sloped deck and is an accurate model of the car.

From: "ian clasper"
Ian,
My local shop Peach Creek Shops sells some white metal kits by GHQ. These
appear to be very high quality kits. The ones I've seen built up in the shop
look very nice.

Tichy 53 ft. GSC car. Many prototypes, very common car.
Atlas car, I provided the drawings for that car. Car was ACL, ex MEC car

Since cabeese are not interchange cars, aren't they much less subject to
rules about being "banned in mainline service?" I mean, aren't there still
some archbar trucks still in use under MOW
