Since box cars were in short supply throughout most of the steam era
I assume most empties would be gondolas. Am I correct?
It seems to me that gons can't be universally loaded, i.e. some are
too

Changing numbers
I have found that if I have to touch up the paint, and if I get close
with a color the weathering blends it in practically seamlessly. I would
not worry to much, if you planned to weather the car.

Nelson also used "C" for Coal in the 1941 books, too that I just
received today. I quickly scanned these Wheel Reports, but probably
won't come to any conclusions until after I parse

I have seen it used on roads in Kansas and it never cures. They put the road oil
down and than a sand over it and the sand is slowly beat down into it. I have
gotten the oil on myself after 6 months

These cars had International of Maine sublettering, but had CP reporting
marks and were listed with other CP cars.
