eraser. It doesn't seem as drastic as scraping. I've heard of doing
this on Kato Diesels. But I'm told that in using this method,

IIRC grog is fired or burnt fireclay or any other clay product. I seem to
remember that it's used sometimes like the rock in concrete (in clay
products, I mean).

Speaking of unusual cars, I was found a 1960 photo of a CofG
"watermelon" PS-1 at the SP narrow/standard gauge town Owenyo
California. I can't think of any "reason" for such a rare car
to show up

Hello,
Has anybody tried successfully to remove the Kadee and the Branchline
lettering from their cars yet in order to do renumbering? If so, what
method did you use? (I have a lot to renumber).

The dome appears fatter because the body and dome are insulated. The
insulation is generally 4 inches thick, plus a little for the jacketing,
which adds a tad over 8 inches to the dome's

OK, the RF&P had cars 280-288 that were converted from box cars #981-1130
and 2451-2800 series of cars. The original cars were built by ACF in 1919
and while most were retired in-between 1947
