Hmmm... maybe they're doing early BN box car rebuilds (the ones with the 4/4 improved dreadnaught ends and PS roofs) and this is a way of using up the leftover parts. <g>

ELSE IS OK. THESE CARS WERE REPAINTED BY THE LAFAYETTE SHOPS AFTER ABOUT
1952. NOT ALL GOT THE SCHEME FEATURED ON THE
