transcontinental freight through the SE USA
If anyone is interested, I can post excerpts from the few conductor books
that I have. They feature ATSF passenger trains through Ft. Madison, Iowa;
1943 Seaboard trains through Charleston, S.C.

The RF&P #2925 was built in 1960 -- interesting shot because it has
a black roof, while Kadee's model has a galvanized roof.
The PRR flat car shot with the REA trucks is great! Note that those

I know you mean that humorously, but the car in that photo is nearly 30 years
old and as Byron has pointed out, the wood on the car sides looked like that
only at the very end of their lives,

PRR question
I just spent the last two minutes assembling the Bowser F-30a flat car.
Are the kit's trucks correct? I'm going to have to replace the molded on
grabs or something. It's just not right to have a model
