All the more reason to avoid Intermountain RTR and build resin, where you paint it yourself. Let the unwashed masses support their business model.

Did the Central Vermont receive any of Canadian National's 1929 boxcars with OB sides and Dreadnaught ends?
Thanks,

What is This Tank Body?
Hi Everyone,
My apologies for the poor photo. What are opinions on this tank body? It appears to be a radial course body and quite large capacity. More importantly if you wanted to model the body

Yes, clearly there were variations over time and place. My original question was in part a reaction to the recent release by Intermountain of Bx-37’s in N scale. Nicely done models, but...

Re: PRR X26C with both Superior door and 'Stanray' diagonal panel roof
I don't think Youngstown and Superior doors are interchangeable, as they use different door tracks.

From all of Elden's research here in the archives, wouldn't GATX be more common than UTLX on these General American cars? I have more UTLX than I should, thanks to the P2K offerings, and not enough

Doors would be interchangeable so it COULD happen. Now, are there photos that show it DID happen, that is the question.

PRR X26C with both Superior door and 'Stanray' diagonal panel roof
I am wondering whether this variation is possible?
I believe from looking at Keystone Modeler, that the 106260-107259 series that had Superior doors were equipped with rectangular panel roofs, and
