That was something GATC liked to do if someone specified platforms on both sides of the tank. Those 12k tanks they built for Gulf had this arrangement.

I got some when they first came out, without wheel sets. They say the new ones are all nickel silver which might add to the prices but for me it's a waste as I use .088 IM
