Re: PFE reefers
I'm not sure how widely they were applied, Tim, but I believe that they fell into disfavor because they had a habit of working loose and falling off the cars, thus endangering any traincrew or other

I have a photo of PFE R-30-2 6334 with either the silhouette of a heraldon the right side
(as reckoned from the B-end) or it's just heavily weathered. I have neverseen a picture of
a PFE reefer

Re: B&O N-25b rebuild (was Photo: UTLX 81014)
picture of N-25b attached
David,
Yes it does. The covered hopper versions were B&O class N-25.
Also notice small volume of the gravel loads in the twin hoppers.

Re: Accurail Nickel Plate Rebuilt Hopper Kitbash
Elliot,
I used Microscale rivet decals. Look for a line of rivets that has similar spacing to ones you need to replace or you are trying to match in the prototype photo. Once its painted and weathered

I am currently working on this kitbash and would like to know what archer decals you used? At 17$ a sheet I would like to know what you reccomend before I start experimenting. Great

We've discussed the UTLX car before. The covered hopper looks to me like a B&O N-13 from the end.
