Lots of good information there, Ben! I like the mixtures of Future withother
paints (Tamiya, Model Master Acrylic). I always liked to add Crystal Coatto
Floquil colors to get a closer-to-gloss

Fw: [RealSTMFC] Poultry Cars
Guys,
I’m beginning to think my message from very early this morning didn’t make it to most of the group. There is very nearly an exact HO scale match for the 1/8” wire 1.5” diamond mesh

CNJ boxcars in LA circa 1947?
Does anyone know if Central of New Jersey box cars would have been seen in the Los Angeles area in late 1940s or early 1950s?
Any info appreciated.

Funny you should mention spiders, Jared. I left some cars on the layout while they were waiting for the paint shop, and one or more itsy bitsy spider spun a complex of webs all over the brake rigging.
