Glad to hear that. I'm out of my depth with PRR trucks when it gets beyond 2D-F8 or Crown, so I have to dig into the diagrams on Rob's site.

Ford had a parts(?) place off the south side of tracks just east of Hobart Yard. We delivered a few boxcars in 2000.

Jack,
Thanks! I learned something today. A PRR "truck expert" had told me the information I relayed, and, not that I doubted you, but when I checked an alternate source, it agrees with you

Before the Ford plant in Pico Rivera, there was a Ford assembly plant in Commerce the L.A.J. Ry. It closed when they built the Pico Rivera plant, but I don't know when it opened.

Re: Car Counts & Other Data
Is this the same data that was presented in post no. 135980? Sounds very similar. Either way, great work with amazing attention to detail.

Hello Group,
In the days before refrigeration on ocean liners -- about a century or more ago -- eggs were rubbed with butter to keep them fresh. Perhaps this is what a "dressed egg" might be?
Cheers,
