Jim Sands lived in the Marshalltown area in the 60's & 70's. Many of his
photos I have seen are dated 1967, some are earlier. He apparently spent a
lot of time down at the CNW yard photographing

I would tend to be careful about the dates on Jim Sands photos, as just
about all that I have seen are dated 1969. I think that may be a date of some
form of transcription of the photos.

My kit came with the instructions on a mini-CD, IIRC. Away from home and I can't check, but I did transfer it to this computer and it's a 14-page 88MB WORD file accompanied by a folder of 71 close-up

There is a movie short series named the Hazards of Helen...filmed in 1915-16...that might interest some. Series #9 is named Leap from the Water Tank. #9 was filmed on Santa Fe trackage including Cajon
