In my experience very few RTR cars are perfect out of the box. Many need some mechanical adjustments. And in my case, all of the RTR cars need the couplers replaced. The same can be said for

RTR models
I'm curious to know how guys are handling the correcting of 'generic' detailed RTR freight cars.
I only had a few and have had to make changes to a couple. Notably the Red Caboose 'patched' CGW X29

Ron Morse can hardly be described as a "newbie". We have known him for many years and he is always very helpful when I write him for photo request. He has sold prints at past O Scale West conventions
