set of brake parts for ALL of their own freight cars? The
only vendor I know who does this is Accurail.

Tim,
You've got to "lighten up" man! Obviously, you fill them with HELIUM
<VBG>. Seriously though, you would use TUBING not SOLID ROD... That
would result in a nicely weighted car.

The test shots were at Cocoa, and I believe we commented on them to some
extent here. IM was showing 3 cars with different road appropriate
details and the consensus was that they were pretty

I understand they have to stay in business and put bogus paint schemes on cars. But can't
they at least do things like use magenta paint on the Chateau-Martin GPEX car, instead of
the purple they did

Probably building those Tichy kits in China convinced them
that wire is really not that much more difficult and may even
save on tooling costs. But one always has to be wary of any
Intermountain paint

There are some subtle differences in WE cars too, like
the roofs someone mentioned. Martin never did the Wabash
cars because the bracing is slightly different. But I'm

I'll keep my eyes peeled. I wouldn't say "Intermountain has been doing a really good job
on their models recently" myself; they have made too many egregious errors in colors
(among other things) for
