I have used it with a brush and Q-tip to debond parts on a painted model. I wouldn't let it pool or evaporate on the model. Tim O'Connor

For the SAL B-5, I've combined some of the Speedwitch set for SAL steel boxcars, with Champ data for 40-ton cars. 'Course this may be moot: has Sunshine released their B-5 kit yet? If so, see Jim Hayes's note in this thread.

I currently have a link to a PDF of Stan's kits and parts list on the Links
page of my Sunshine website. Soon, maybe within a month, I'll have an updated list with pictures of his models. Stan is like Martin Loftin and doesn't have a computer. If Stan is doing a model of something that Sunshine has already done, it's because he believes there's something wrong with the Sunshine kit, Jim Hayes Portland Oregon www.sunshinekits.com

A little known fact is that Sunshine sells their decals separately. $3 for

one color decals plus $1 for each additional color. And there's no postage charge for decal only orders. Go to www.sunshinekits.com/flyersbyroad.html to find your model and look at the flyer for it, then go to the Contact Sunshine page for ordering info. I know that at least the NP boxcars have been done by Sunshine. Unfortunately the NP monads are separate decals for the red and black so those decals will cost you $5. While I've not used debonder on a painted model, I have noticed that when using debonder to remove ACC lumps from the work surface of my bench it does a pretty good job lifting paint splashes as well. Conclusion, I wouldn't try it on a painted model. Pierre Oliver

I asked Speedwitch what they would recommend for this kit and their response was to use the Atlas #185000 50 ton Bettendorf truck.

My memory is that Sunshine did an IC steel reefer. Martin does sell decals and his PDS would be a source for paint scheme and photos.Yes, the one I have is kit #46.18, "IC Steel Reefer, Sq. Ends, 1937-50s Decals". Colors are "yellow-orange sides, black ends, black underframe, silver-gray roof and IC green lettering, herald and side sill striping". The 300 delivered in 1937 had square corner ends, the 200 from 1940 had "W" corner ends. Tom Madden
