I used Campbell Scale Models chain, which is 42 links per inch. I used 1x6 styrene for the brake levers, and 0.012 wire with clevises made from Grandt Line turnbuckles for the brake rods.

SPECIAL NOTICE – Toronto Railway Prototype Modellers Meet postponement
Current public health concerns due to the spreading of Covid -9 have compelled us to postpone the Toronto Railway Prototype Modellers Meet scheduled to be held on Sat. Mar. 21 at Humber College to a later date at the College. Many of us are older and have a higher risk of contracting the virus. We cannot ensure that proper social distance can be maintained at Humber. We hope that anybody who has paid for travel tickets will be able to get full reimbursement given this situation. you are correct, it is a chicago-clevrland, if memory serves me right?, bob hundman in MM did an article on howto build one of these radial roofs from scratch, and one of the prototype illustrations featured this roof with the bolt head (?) attachments on the rib supports, believe the issue was 8/99 ;-) mel perry

pdf attachment errors

I agree that it's a radial roof, but it doesn't seem to match the images of the Hutchins "camber" roof in the 1916 CBC. I don't know who made that roof.

Thanks Steve. You're right but I have ignored the treatment of the flat-bottom top major rib because EVERYONE in the hobby biz has ignored it (in HO scale) with one Accurail exception (I think; from memory). There are dozens and dozens of examples where that feature is missing from our models. :-(
