Why not model actual train consists?
simply Yep, but you have to stay sharp... that kind of mental quickness, as well as the subtleties of interpreting scanner chatter, require constant practice. At least for me. I'm waaaaay out of pract

Didn't Emery Goulash shoot 16mm films of some complete freight trains? Of course nowadays, video is cheap and you can shoot entire trains easily. Not modeler quality shots but you can identify the car

Wouldn't make any difference to me. I've been to 9 NMRA conventions, and in that time, probably less than 9 clinics. I don't really go to shows - or RPM meets - for the clinics, strange as it may seem

Long time ago, I wrote some song reviews - really just a commentary - on a usenet forum. Entirely my own words. About a year later, I stumbled across my post - verbatim - posted to a "wedding" forum.

Sounds like the NMRA needs to get away from these large venues. It's not like it's a rock concert for crying out loud. So literally they'll be searching bags for video cameras at the door? Count me ou

Oh NO... MicroMark at it again!
Wherever it's made it can't be any worse than the Chopper. It's a piece of junk. Or at least the Chopper 1 and Chopper 3 are. The 2 is almost usable having an aluminum base. All are great ideas, but s

Sure doesn't stop it from being tried all the time and millions spent on lawyers to fight it only to have it never go to court and get the slapping down it deserves. Andy
