Is there an accurate RI stockcar available?
Most of the Rock Island stock cars that were rebuilt from "Fowler Clone" boxcars were single deck cars. I imagine that Al will do the most common cars, but both would be nice..... Steve Hile

Rock Island 40' "DF" Boxcars
Rock Island boxcars 5800 - 5899 were delivered in 1959. The first few cars came without the big orange DF2 logo, but, early on, they went back and had it added. All 100 cars had DF2 loaders. 5800-5816

That is what the RI equipment diagram says. The earliest RI cars originally equipped with DF equipment was 100 fifty foot, nine foot single door opening, PS-1's numbered 5085 - 5184 delivered in 1954.
