Cool photo but it’s mid-late 60’s at the earliest with EL hoppers, gothic P&LE and boxcar with the removed roofwalk. The load restraints would be different in earlier times. Brian J. Carlson

The N-G ratios are for fleets of cars they don’t get into the individual makeup of the cars within the fleet numbers. I touched on my approach to this aspect back when I did my presentations in 2009-1

The G-N or N-G data really only works up to the mid 1950s. This is well stated in the analyses done by Tim and Dave. Once you get later things changed, piggyback, specialized boxcars, specific service
