Plugging IM bodies
I’m working on an Intermountain box car and I need to plug some of the holes in the body to re-detail it. I have found I don’t have an appropriate diameter styrene rod. What I have is too small. Since

How's Tichy doing currently, decal thickness and all?
Mine were so thick they would conform to the surface. The same issue as was discussed when they first came out. I ended up cobbling several other sources. Brian J. Carlson

Cool photo but it’s mid-late 60’s at the earliest with EL hoppers, gothic P&LE and boxcar with the removed roofwalk. The load restraints would be different in earlier times. Brian J. Carlson

Ratios
The N-G ratios are for fleets of cars they don’t get into the individual makeup of the cars within the fleet numbers. I touched on my approach to this aspect back when I did my presentations in 2009-1
