I get it, I know that color can shift from one photo to the next. All I was saying is that both of those PRR cars are NOT painted the same color. If anyone wants to argue that point then I want to see

Scott, I'm in 100% total agreement with you here. I'm not looking at this photo as a reference for painting covered hoppers. All I'm saying is that they weren't all snow white from start to finish as

Ed, my point exactly. You can't say that all PRR (or insert your favorite road) covered hoppers cars were painted in all the same shades of (insert car color here) paint and that never changed through

So would this account for the hopper car being dark while the guy riding the footboards have a glowing white shirt? I've looked at this pic numerous times. I'm not trying to use it for a painting guid

Tom, I know what you mean with the lighting. There's seems to always have been a debate about the color Kadee chose for their models. Regardless of the color being off there's creditable evidence here

When you say it's way off what do you mean? I'm not familiar with photo shop. I see that the upper right corner is dark but everything seems normal. Todd Horton ________________________________ To: ST

I have to agree, the C of G decals with those kits that were provided were pretty bad. Fortunately the CGRHS stepped up and did offer some correct sets. Todd Horton ________________________________ To

Michael, "IF" these are on Kadee cars then the roof walks are a press fit. I have taken them off and put them back on with just finger pressure. Todd Horton ________________________________ To: STMFC@
